Strength today for all who are struggling.

Hope today for all who despair.

Peace today for all who are in turmoil.

Comfort today for all who are fearful.

Closure today for all who need it.

Relief today for all who are in pain.

Support today for all who have burdens.

Grace today for all.

For Love, Grace, Compassion, Comfort and Support we are unspeakably grateful.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

Today, may we find the resources to get up and do it again.  May we find that we are stronger than we imagined.  Life is constant re-engagement.  Rest and recovery are necessary components, and then it’s time to face the challenge anew.  May we find that in spite of our fears, we are refreshed and re-invigorated by going forth once more.  There is no going back, nor can we stay where we are at.  So let us move forward boldly, confidently, with strength and resolve.  And with Joy – always with Joy!  For forward motion, we give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

May this day find us communing with nature.  May we find ourselves not simply enjoying the view, but actually in the picture,  present and connected.  May we notice every nuance, every smell, every tiny epic story that is happening right before our eyes.  May we find our sacred relationship with this interconnected web.  Let us be mindful that we are stewards of this planet.  For all we take, we must return.  We are part of a cosmic covenant, and we must keep our part of the bargain.  So let us walk forth today, into the grand landscape of Being, and find that we do, in fact, belong.  For natural wonders we give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

How we choose to communicate says much about how we engage with the world.  Defiance, rigid self-righteousness and dismissiveness are less productive and less effective at getting our own needs met than adapting an attitude of compassion, cooperation and gratitude.  Mistake these not, though, as being weak or pliable; quite the opposite, when we engage with caring both for others as well as for universal agency, we become more confident, less fearful and better able to ride the storm waves of life.  Choosing our words and choosing our attitude are exactly the same thing – let us choose wisely.  We are grateful for attitudes of Grace.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

May this day find us rising and moving with energy and purpose.  May we see to the business of living out our full and meaningful lives.  May we know and show the love we feel, sharing it freely.  May we have safe passage.  May we find solutions to the obstacles we encounter.  May we be imbued with creativity.  May we find beauty at every turn.  May we eat healthy and tasty food.  May we be comfortable.  May we return home satisfied with our accomplishments.  May we fall back asleep and rest deeply. These are the days of our lives, and they are sacred. For today and all that it may bring we give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

Ora et labora: Latin for pray and work, usually in partnership.  May we, this day, practice our labor with a sense of reverence.  May we find contentment in the skill in our hands, the knowledge in our minds, and the strength in our bodies.  May we be grateful to have a task that is worth doing, regardless of how meager it may seem.  Our time in this living experience is finite; we will expend a marked amount of energy through the course of our days.  As we are Divine, our actions are holy.  May we imbue them with their inherent grace.  For the activity that is our lives, we give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

Each day is a unique opportunity to begin again.  Who we were yesterday certainly informs who we are today, and yet the choice is ours regarding how to proceed.  So let us greet each morning as the renewal of the spirit.  Let us seek freshness in our modes of operating.  Let us keep the glories of the past, and find remedies for our dysfunctionality.  We will not be entirely able to fashion a new person in one day, but that is because life is a continuous process.  The blessing lies in the recognition of this, and the celebration of the promise of renewal.  For stable change we rightly give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

May we, this day, be ever mindful of all who have come before us.  May we remember in respect and reverence the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf.  Every day, through our choices and our actions, we create the world of tomorrow.  May we never be complacent, nor take for granted the struggles of our forebears, that have given us the bountiful blessings we enjoy today.  Let us take the same care, and make our own sacrifices, that our children and their progeny will inherit a world of beauty and bounty.  For sacrifice and stewardship we give thanks.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

To be in a state of Grace is to find that you love, and are loved in return.  We are all worthy of Grace, and we earn it through simple deeds of compassion, connection and friendship.  It is the highest human aspiration, and it is attainable by all.  Simply by Being, we are candidates for Grace.  It calls us to be mindful of our words and actions.  And even when we fall from Grace, forgiveness, understanding and humility will soon restore us.  So let us seek to in-Grace-iate ourselves this day, to fulfill the wholeness of our human experience.  For the Love of friends and family, we are infinitely grateful.  Blessed Be, and Amen.

Warmth, fellowship, brightness and festivities today!  Engage in the carnival of life!  Heed the barker’s call – the admission is simple involvement.  Step right in, and see all the wondrous sights!  Marvel at the death-defying acts.  Laugh along with the ironic clowns.  Visit the sideshow for strange and unexpected delights!  Indulge in culinary delights, and drink deeply the honey-mead of engagement!  Your time spent here is NOT frivolous!  Quite the contrary: this circus will not only re-invigorate you, it will also heighten your awareness of the festive reality of being.  So, for today, let us run away and join the circus.  Even if we end up as stable keepers of elephants, we can be grateful to be a part of this magnificent experience.  Blessed Be, and Amen.
