Day 53

May today hold for us a new sense of wonder, and a renewed sense of purpose. May we find that we are supported in our vision. May we find guidance from wise elders. May we take the time to mentor those who follow in our footsteps. May we explore the path with courage, fortitude, purpose and determination. And may we, by our shining examples, show the way forward, to deeper understanding, love and compassion. For the wanderlust of our created existence, we rejoice and give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 51

We are all in this together! Our experiences are the same, be they pain, pleasure, wonder, worry, gladness or regret. Why then do we categorize ourselves? We do we set ourselves apart from others? Even within our own groups, we are too fond of finding division rather than unity. All Souls are worthy. There is a Unity that binds us. There is more we have in common with each other than that which separates us. Let Inclusion be our clarion call this day! May we reach out to one and all! Stroke when tempted to strike. Listen before speaking. Seek understanding rather than judgement. Love is the Imperative! Love! Love! Love! For our capacity for compassion, we give joyful thanks and cry hallelujah! Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 50

Glorious, brilliant crystalline chill! The world is blanketed in a downy comforter of snow, slumbering through winter’s night. Sleep is when the brain processes thoughts into memories; and so too it is with the Earth. Each season has its purpose: wintertide is the season of transformation, when the promises of spring, the adventures of summer, and the reflections of fall become fulfilled in the ancient consciousness of All. The cycle begins anew: may we, in our season of gentle memory, renew our souls, and begin again, and begin again, and begin again. For winters deep and restful bliss, we give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 49

This day may we be blessed with the gift of laughter. Lacrimae mundum has been lamented in poems and odes, The time has come to immortalize the laughs of the world. The emotional center is the same, and both are cathartic. May we begin to explore the depths of our joy, that we would dedicate ourselves to its universal propagation. Our existence may well have come about when the mother of the cosmos slipped on a celestial banana peel. Life is too important to take seriously. May we laugh ourselves into being today. For the irony of existence we give a holy ha ha ha! Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 48

May this day unfold in possibilities. May it surprise and delight. May it enlighten and enrich. Each day is a new promise, a new proposal. Each day we are given the opportunity to re-create ourselves. As we practice living into each moment, we recognize our lives as a spiral of re-birth. Our souls are the tool kit from which we draw in our instantaneous re-construction. The stories of our yesterdays build the possibilities of our tomorrows. May our measurements be sure, our materials sound, our blueprints complete and our foundations deep. We build on sacred ground. For our inner-urban renewal we are grateful. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 47

Today may we find strength and resolve, fortitude and determination, to do all that must be done. May we perform admirably in our jobs; may we behave lovingly with our families; may we be compassionate to all; and may we be kind to ourselves. In our diligence to accomplish today, may we not lose focus on life’s greater imperatives, but rather recognize how our industry supports these imperatives, or adjust our activities accordingly. May we be safe, and do no harm. For all our talents directed ever forward, we give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 46

Shakespeare intoned that the world is a stage, and we it’s players. Art is our ongoing attempt to elevate our sublime living experience to the exalted realm of immortality. Art is celebration, remorse, pathos, irony, devotion, regret and resignation. In this, it is the mirror of our lives. May we, this day, live art-worthy lives. May we engage in adventures that inspire anthems! May we practice acts that call forth litanies of values. May we sing and dance, and name all things. May we create and re-create, and paint a tapestry of incomprehensible beauty. May our lives be the canvas, our actions the brush strokes, and the people around us the palette. May we create landscapes of love and still-lifes of splendid motion, to fill the gallery eternal. For creativity driven by divine inspiration we give praise and thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 44

May I be an instrument of peace, that the world will become a safer place.
May I be an agent of compassion, that those in distress will know healing.
May I be an advocate of justice, that oppression will diminish.
May I be a minister of healthy relationship, that all who encounter me will be touched.
May I be a paragon of love, that love becomes manifest in the world.
And may I be all these things to myself first, that I might be whole, and present, centered and grounded.
For self-care that re-creates us anew we are abundantly grateful.
Blessed Be, and Amen.
