O Great & Expansive Voice of All Ages – we live in a world of words. We are all desperate to be heard, to be known. And in our desperation, we cry out ever louder. Our language becomes more insistent. Our message more determined. What we’ve lost in all this, is the gentle act of listening. We are caught off-guard in moments of silence. A simple walk in the woods, or accomplishing a mean chore, some quiet, private moment when the possibilities of the universe present themselves to us. When we intentionally pause, and let silence wash over us, we gain insight and inspiration unbounded. We know not from where this message comes, and yet we do: we are conversing with God. For our ears, which are above our mouths, we give silent thanks and praise. Blessed Be, and Amen.
