Day 43

We are bound up in an endless love that pervades all existence! Love is the fuel of our Reactors, of our Transformers, and it courses through our Conductors. It powers all of our relationships, from the intimate to the mundane. It illuminates dark places and warms cold spaces. It is sometimes shocking! And it is uniquely sustainable, but not always easy to create. We must persevere in our quest for new sources. Recycled material can yield deep, compassionate love. Celestial power plants provide a long arc of love that bends toward justice. Most important is the power plant beating deep inside each of us. Be not frugal with your great and marvelous power! For the more you give away, the more you receive in return. Recall this day the mantra of creation: ohm! For the Love of metaphor we are grateful. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 42

O Most Tranquil and Benevolent Host, thank you for sensation. Simple pleasures of experience. What our eyes behold, our hands can touch, our tongues can taste. Breathe deep and smell, quietly listen and hear. And most miraculous of all, we comprehend! We process, and we are transformed, re-created again and again. These are the delights of Eden. For the sensual world, and our experience of it, we give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 41

Sing out with a voice rich in experience and with a timbre tempered with wisdom and grace. Sing for ourselves in brokenness and remorse. Sing for resolve and resources of transformation. Sing with elation and exultation. Sing ourselves into harmony with creation. The songs we sing this day and the next will resonate throughout our time and beyond. We will blend the cosmic vibration on the frequency sublime, and will be felt in the hearts of all who stop to listen and feel. May our songs be pleasing, nurturing, enriching, and soothing. We rejoice in song, for we are truly grateful. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 40

Heart of all Hearts – where do we go to mend our brokenness, to heal our deepest hurts? What is the balm of the sole? The analgesic of esteem? To whom can we turn when we become estranged from ourselves? It is in these times that we need you most. We need the universal affirmation that we are worthy. We need the big truth that we deserve happiness. We need the Great Mother to kiss away our abrasions and smooth our hair and assure us that everything will be all right again. We need to heal, before we can move on. May it be so. For Big Medicine, we give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 39

O Great & Expansive Voice of All Ages – we live in a world of words. We are all desperate to be heard, to be known. And in our desperation, we cry out ever louder. Our language becomes more insistent. Our message more determined. What we’ve lost in all this, is the gentle act of listening. We are caught off-guard in moments of silence. A simple walk in the woods, or accomplishing a mean chore, some quiet, private moment when the possibilities of the universe present themselves to us. When we intentionally pause, and let silence wash over us, we gain insight and inspiration unbounded. We know not from where this message comes, and yet we do: we are conversing with God. For our ears, which are above our mouths, we give silent thanks and praise. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 38

Glorious Sun! Splendor of the Earth! Dirt, rock, tree, grass. Water, sky, moss, flower. How magnificent is the simple fact of Be-ing. To walk, to smell, to touch and feel. To swim, to tumble, to stumble, to catch. Greet this day with arms wide, eyes open, senses alive, and heart strong. Be open to possibilities. Receive all that comes your way. If it brings humor, laugh! If it brings sorrow, cry! If it brings rejection, seek acceptance. If it brings injustice, search for restoration. Our presence is a blessing – may we fully live into ourselves this day, that we might walk a righteous path. For feat and hands and heart and soul we give thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 37

O Sweet & Melodious Voice of our Hearts – the hills are alive with the sound of music! The music of births; of words of congratulations; of the laughter of children; of the whispers of friends. Not all of our songs are joyful, though: there are dirges of injustice; lamentations of being marginalized; requiems of unfulfilled dreams. Our human choir, in spite of rehearsing, is often out of tune, off-beat, sometimes flat. And then, in an instant, glorious harmonies sing hymns full of love and rejoicing and triumph. Practice does make perfect. May we today find our voice, on pitch, in rhythm, as we sing both of woe and aspiration. For this choir of angels we give praise and thanks. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 36

Ancient of Days: we are eternally grateful for our awareness. Most of the mass of the Universe is silent and asleep. We are awake, and that miracle is cause for celebration! Today we will re-construct our world as it presents itself to us. As with the falling tree in the forest, without our perception to assemble and invent, the Universe would not exist. In this sense, we are each of us God, creating Eden today, the first day. And tomorrow, the first day. And tomorrow, the first day. For possibilities, we rejoice! Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 35

Blessed Earth, you are home to all our experiences, and to all those whom we love. You sustain our very existence. The food we eat, the wine we drink, the medications for our ailments are your gracious gifts to us. And when our earthly days are done, we will return to you, in one form or another. May we be ever mindful of this loving relationship. May we always honor you as sacred ground. May we always defend you. May we always heal you. May we always be grateful to you for the treasure of life that is Us. For our lives and all you give to sustain us, we give thanks and praise. Blessed Be, and Amen.

Day 34

Spirit of Life, the world around us is wondrous, and often unexpected. It seems uncertainty and chaos are the laws of the cosmos. We operate assuming we can predict at least the day ahead, that we have some control. Ultimately, all we control is our response to the chaos. Our spirituality gives us the resources we need to navigate the uncertainty with grace, which is to respond lovingly. May we, in times of trouble or uncertainty, find in ourselves the eternal truth: that we are each of us divine, that we are manifestations of the sacred. For these spiritual gifts we are truly grateful. Blessed Be, and Amen.
